Established in 1943, Hankook Chinaware Co., Ltd. is known as Korea's most prestigious manufacturer of high quality ceramic tableware. With 10 manufacturing plants, including operations in Indonesia, Hankook's monthly capacity is in excess of 3 million pieces of tableware. In addition, the group also produces 1 million sheets of high quality ceramic Decals a month. The Hankook Chinaware brand name ranks as number-one in its domestic market.
This booklet serves to introduce Hankook's products and facilities as well as outlining our group philosophy.
Hankook Chinaware produces "Fine Bone China" decorated with sophisticated designs and a worldwide reputation, gained over several decade, for quality and reliability. Over fifty years accumulation of ceramic technology enabled us to introduce "Super Strong" a unique translucent vitrified porcelain body first developed by Hankook Chinaware. Its quality has gained worldwide recognition.
The quality of our products has been internationally assured by the International organization of standardization, which certified our production system with ISO 9001. We are also especially proud to announce that in 1996 our decade long attention to a strong environmental policy culminated in our being awarded ISO 14001, the international certification for environmental management.
Hankook also recently acquired the IQ-Net Award selected from 100,000 ISO registrations. Hankook is therefore firmly established as an international company producing the highest quality range of products.
